Daughters of Hope

Founded in 2017, Daughters of Hope is a nonprofit organization committed to developing and empowering young ladies ages 9 to 15 years of age to reach their full potential in becoming self-aware and active members of their community and society.

This is achieved through year-round mentoring, promoting self-esteem and self-confidence, encouraging healthy relationships, mother and daughter involvement, providing community service opportunities, monthly Daughters of Hope classes, learning life skills through trainings, seminars and summer camps, with hands-on activities from their members and community helpers, and so much more.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Assist with monitoring the Zoom account during live Monday monthly class from 6 – 7:30 PM dealing with self-love, self-respect, and involvement in the community.
  • Help organize goody bags, gift bags, and other donations girls in the program.
  • Help with setting up and breaking down different events for the girls in the DOH program.
  • Volunteers to assist the girls with arts and crafts activities during Monday monthly class.
