The mission of Family First of Southeast Texas is to preserve families with children by supporting parents who are survivors of domestic violence, or are struggling with substance abuse disorder, or mental health challenges. Family First provides assistance through family intervention, recovery service, and treatment. They address critical safety concerns and help meet essential immediate needs such as housing, childcare, communication, and transportation with priority given to families with children in foster care or as risk of placement. By collaborating with families, caregivers and community partners, and resources, Family First of SETX strives to create a safe, supportive environment that promotes lasting reunification.
