Fortress of Faith Coalition for Families and Children

The mission of Fortress of Faith Coalition for Families and Children is to seek, secure and skillfully train foster-adopt homes for abused and neglected children and to build resilient, confident youth and stronger families through outreach and prevention advocacy, behavioral skills training, intercessory prayer, therapeutic services and trauma informed care practices.

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Prevention and outreach efforts including foster parent recruitment
• Manage social media outlets and contribute to marketing assignments
• Help with booth setup and engaging with attendees of community fairs and healthcare events
• Admin support
• Assist in organizing toy and basic needs drive for children in care
• Peer mentorship

Court-Mandated Volunteer Opportunities

• Make initial and follow-up phone calls to prospective foster parents
• Secure opportunities for speaking engagements
• Research and maintain a contact list of philanthropic donors
