Heart Gallery of Southeast Texas

The Heart Gallery of Southeast Texas, which is an affiliate of Heart Galleries of Texas, was launched on May 15, 2024. Texas Family Care Network (TFCN) is the designated lead non-profit organization for the Heart Gallery of Southeast Texas. This program is part of statewide collaborative effort to find loving and permanent homes for Texas children and youth who are living in foster care. The Heart Gallery of Southeast Texas focuses on children in Region 5 and this project will be aimed at improving opportunities for children in foster care in the City of Beaumont who want to be adopted. Through strength-based visual storytelling and with the integration of Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), the Heart Gallery of Southeast Texas uses exhibits, portraits and media to introduce communities to children in foster care who want to be adopted. The program seeks to facilitate connections with potential adoptive families for children who typically have to wait longer for adoptions, such as older youth, sibling groups and/or children with higher medical needs. The Heart Gallery of Southeast Texas is the only organization of its kind in the Beaumont area that is dedicated to the critical role of helping youth in foster care connect with potential families who live in our community.
